    Transporting a Attex

Soon going to pick up my very own Attex SC,I would rather not drag a trailer and my 16 foot enclosed is way overkill and hard on the fuel,I need some thoughts on putting it in the wife's pickup.its a Silverado with a six foot box,is this remotely possible if I were to build a rack to the tops of the inner fenders,I need some input on this or should I just rent a smaller trailer, dimensions of the machine would help.Cheers NCT

    NCT,

We put JPswifts little truck and my/now George's Spirit in the back of JP's Dodge Dakota. You just need to remove the center tires and may want to bring a few small pieces of plywood to put between the wheel wells and the hubs, but you probably don't need them.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

It'll fit perfectly fine in the back of a full size truck with room to spare. Be sure to post lots of pics! I look forward to seeing it.

if you make a platform to haul above the wheelwells make sure it is blocked from taking out the back window. The things you learn from experience you never forget! have a safe trip.

Thanks guys I think thats the best bet it would be a better trip without a trailer I always seem to be dragging a trailer would rather go bareback on this pull, cant wait, timing has been poor the wife's trophy horse is about to give birth and she is having kittens hoping it all goes well, the mare is slightly overdue so me going out of town for any length of time right now is a bad deal. With any luck the mare will spit it out before next weekend and then Iam off south of de borderto pickup the much anticipated Attex .It will have a great home nestled up to the Avenger in a climate controlled shop, next to my lazy boy chair, and various remotes,jp pics will be flowing I couldn't be happier, thanks to this site I get a chance to have something that I thought was lost to history.Funny thing Iam more excited about this than when I picked up the new Avenger, could have something to do with the check I wrote LMAO,but seriously Iam stoked chances are I will never see another one here in Ontario.Pic,s to follow Cheers NCT

Hey NCT,did you eventually try putting the Attex in the 6' bed pickup? If so,how'd it work out? Thanks, Joe.
