I want to trim off the extra HDPE on the upper. I put the frame/cage in temporarily to help prevent any warping that might occur when marrying the two halves. Once everything looks good, I'll mark off a cut line and take everything apart to make the cuts.

I also removed the old staples from the Apache's original belly band to use with the rebuild.

I trimmed the top and attached it to the bottom last week. I also started re-attaching the side-plates and got two of the inner axles back in.

Today I finished getting the axles in. I also fought with the belly-band. I put the tranny back in but not before changing the ATF. It takes less than 5 minutes to do that when the T-20 is outside the car.

Tomorrow I plan on changing the engine oil and re-installing it, getting the outer axles and arms back on and finishing up the wiring.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

    Thanks everyone!

It's going to be very close Jim. Probably.

If I had another 45 minutes of daylight I would've had half the tires on Whip!
