    I Finally Got An Attex!!!!!

great deal on one on craigslist. it was once a 500 superchief...new solid axles never installed with new sprockets and chains...and a GREEN POLY BODY!!

    next two objectives:

    1. make a reverse mold to make some fiberglass attex bodies...perhaps HDPE in the long run...

    2. transform it into a springer

i'm pumped...i've only ever had max's, now time for something different...

    Super Springer!!!!!

Wow! Hey man, congratulations! Looks pretty nice. And a Green Machine to boot!! Good luck and have fun converting that bad boy into a Super Springer!!! With a little boost from Whipper's uber-precision Apache Gear conversion parts I predict you'll be having waaay too much fun in short order! What kind of powerplant are you thinking of??? Whatever shape it finally takes, be sure to document the transformation with lots of pics!

    here's the progress so far...
we coated the bottom with truckbed coating and we will paint the top a bright yellow with a black racing stripe on the top. the wheels will also be black. The frame and misc parts have been sandblasted an either painted black or sprayed with "chrome" paint which actually looks like chrome sorry for the bad quality.
