    Old bolens snowmobiles

I have three old snowmobiles two are bolens from late sixties early seventies. One has a 295 two cyl. The other has a three cyl motor. Both are two cycle. I also own a max 4 with a 16 horse Briggs. My question is would either of these motor be stronger than my 16 horse Briggs. Would a two stroke be better than a four stroke engine. Just wondering.

Hi Greasemonkey, the general answer is that it depends on what you intend to do with your Max. If you are trail riding, stick with the four stroke. If you want to race, go with the two stroke.
