    replaceing brake drum sprocket

    have a 1980 max 11 pulled the tire off then losen the ring by the axcel took the bolt out on the drum took the 3 bolts out holding the ring on the outer tubside pulled the axcel out replaced the drum put it all together and realised that there was nothing holding the axcel in place looed at the other side and its the same way only a setscrew ring on the outside holding it in place nothing on the inside on the axcel can not beleive we have been running it this way for years or am I missing something looking through the how to section it shows one on the inside not makeing sence to me

    watched the vidio again and relised the whole thing is put together wrong the inter flange was inside the tub there was a gasket between the outer ring and the tub but still nothing on the inside to keep it in place its a hollow axcel rideing on a brass bushing but worked for years that way will clean it and put the rings per the vidio and see what happens
