Thanks Mike good to know. That's the great thing about those Vanguard twins, they leave a lot on the table. Little tweaking and tuning and you can really wake them up. Lot of guys around here are...

Hi Norton. I think my Max 2 had 22s but whatever. I believe u can get a 16 HP carb and take out the exhaust restrictors and u have 16 HP. Cheaper than an 18 for now. Mine had a 16 and went real well....
Got everything back on and in except for the tires. Still adjusting the controls. Figure I should have it finished by this weekend and then start packing for the first week of April. I'm still...
Changing Times, the Kiplinger Magazine featured this article in their May, 1970 edition titled "ATV's: Invincible Vehicles that go Anywhere ...for hard work...or just for play" . It is a good article on the booming popularity of AATVs in the 70's and even has a section about conservationists being upset about ATVs even back then. The last page has a neat comparison chart on different ATVs.
