The manual says its a 3/8 hex pipe plug. I've tried female type extractors on hex heads, with no luck. Can you get too them while the engine is in the machine?

This manual is for the Seeyle electric plastic welder but it has some great tips on how to weld plastic including proper angles, beads, temperatures, etc. to be utilized when welding high density polyethylene HDPE or ABS plastic used on our amphibious ATVs.
