  1. Hello teeko, I do not know about the speed difference between 2 or 4 stroke but my 2 stroke is a power house. I think you're limited with the 4 stroke, i meen the 2 stroke 2 cylinder 400 are over 40hp vs an 18 or 20 hp 4 stroke. The 2 stroke developes the rpm & get the power out very quick. I have a 9 inch driven clutch on my trans Verse the 10.890 i took off & my argo will go 50mph easily yet the way the engine clutch works it lets the rpm get up some before engageing so it does'nt bog from a start off. I hope you got a good muffler cause they are loud. This is my first argo also. I was lucky enough to find a complete argo for parts too last week. Maybe buy a cheep smomoble & use it's engine. Easy to drop in. Talk to ya soon. JK
  2. Teeko here, thanks for your reply. I haven't even heard my machine run and I have never driven an argo before. I'm pretty excited though. How is the 2 stroke? Is it much faster then the 4 strokes? Is the power sufficient? Reason I'm asking is mine is completely torn down (motor siezed) and I just want to make sure it is worth rebuilding or should I go 4 stroke. I am a big fan of 2 strokes.
