Can heat affect the ignition coil?

    funny that some people tell you that coils cant get weak.they either work or they don't.that sure is false,they will get weak and break down from heat.

    Absolutely correct Plott and thank goodness that if you heed the warning you can get back and get it repaired before it totally packs it in.NCT

    I found a dual output 12v coil on Dennis Kirk for 36 bucks, fixed my no fire problem on my Kohler 17s2.
