Might be worth checking it with a volt meter in place just to confirm the voltage. Concerning replacement. Any nippon denso will work. Just make sure to swap out the pulley.
The simple answer is yes. But probably depends upon the types of tracks you're going to run. I run Channel tracks the 25 inch tires there's plenty of clearance.
Sounds like a plan. Get whatever suits the conditions. Deep snow is for rubber tracks. My channels work but they are just paddling me along not keeping me on top.
Those adairs are supposed to swim...
I have a 2015 750 EFI Frontier 8x8 with 3.3 transmission. Running channel wrap tracks. I have over 500 miles on the tracks. Works good. Rubber tracks are better in the snow. For muskeg with willow...
Where is the serial or vin number located? This is a used machine and am trying to verify the year.
Never mind found it behind the brake lever.

Good catch and thanks for the info. I have the same engine. Mine was routed on the non flywheel side. So had no issues.
One observation is that I never got my stator to produce more than 13.5...
+ 1 on what Vance said. I will probably plagarize quite a few of your ideas this winter building a roof for mine.
I have a couple questions for you:
1 - what type of glass is your window?
2 -...
I run a pair of channel tracks on my argo. It turns it into a whole different animal. They dont get hung up in the sticky stuff the way the supertracks on my brothers conquest do. Out perform all...
Mityvac evacuator works well. Around $90 at Napa.
Pics of my pulley, brackets, and alternator. Should have 80% output available at idle of the 40 amps possible. Had to remove the exhaust metal ducting and do some trimming and reinstall. Now I have...
You are correct. In this case of the 747 cc Command Pro EFI engines. They all possess the same cam, injectors, etc... The only thing I have found to be different, as per the service manual, are the...
Kohler Command PRO ECH730 V-Twin MAGNUM EVO-Tech Industrial Engine Performance Chip
This is the booster i am looking at
Near as I can ascertain the 23 hp is a 694cc engine with a shorter stroke than the 747cc 25, 27, 29 hp engines. The new frontier has a 25 hp in it as per the serial number. Since I purchased one I...
