    JLO no spark?

I recently got a Terra Tiger, and the engine is in need of some work. I will have more details when I get it out of the vehicle, but right now I know it has no spark. I am assuming a coil but not sure. Also, anyone know how hard it is to get the pulley off this thing? I have an 8HP 4 stroke that I want to get in this thing, but the carb and the exhaust are on the same side, and in the machine it would be facing the driver. I was gonna use some spare piping to loop the pipe around an through the missing hood and let the carb be. Might restore the JLO eventually cause 10 horses of raw 2 stroke power would be fun

You probably have some corrosion on your points. You should be able to pull the recoil starter and access the points thru a hole in the flywheel. A light treatment with sandpaper or emery cloth should do it. Fixing that should be much less work than a retrofit.
What pulley are you trying to remove, the primary clutch?
