    Honda 18 Horse

I thought I'd share this, for what it's worth. I'm helping a friend fix his Honda riding lawn mower (4518). It was leaking oil. The engine is a GX640, 18 horse horizontal shaft, water cooled. This thing purrs like a kitten and runs as smooth as any engine I've ever seen. Although I haven't thought about rotation, weight, dimensions and all that stuff, it seems like it would make for a good repower option.

Sorry for the sideways pic. I don't see how to rotate it.

I like the water cooled Kawasaki engines that were in the original MaxIV, you won't find a better engine and it fits right in.
