Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of reading lately....
A friend of mine has a 2001 Max IV with 26" goodyears and a Kawasaki FD750D engine! He hasn't used it "in a few years".... I cleaned out the fuel tank, put in new fuel and a new filter... The oil looked fine, so I'll replace it as soon as I get the engine running **
Got it started, but its filling the engine full of gas. Oil is leaking out of the exhaust.... etc... OK, so IMHO the carb is stuck open and fuel is spewing into the engine (oil).... as soon as this is fixed, oil gets changed.
I took the carb off and the previous person that worked on the carb used blue RTV to seal it all up. I'd like to scrape all that crap off and get all new internal parts.
