I'm new to the 6x6 world and have acquired a 70's attex. The thing was pretty rough but the price was right. I put a 10hp clone diesel engine in it, replaced bent axle, new bearings, new chain, paint, new seat and seat cover. It turned out pretty good. I'm in the process of building some tracks out of conveyor belt and chain. I will be using the tracks for ice fishing and I'm concerned that the conveyor belt wont have good traction on the ice. Would snowmobile studs be the way to go or should I build some sort of carbide to run across the track section? What do you guys think? Here is a before and after pic.6x6_2.jpg6x6_2.jpg
