All this talk about racing has got me wondering who on this board has the fastest 6x6 or 8x8?
My LTV KID will only do about 20-25....but that's really all you need in that tank.
So how fast will the quickest machine run?

    Aaron;
When I am over where the Max2 is again I will stop and see if they will let it go.

    Aaron,

I didn't know anything about these machines when I got my first Attex. Now I'm comfortable working on just about any part of my machines except maybe engine rebuilding...the good news is I've made a bunch of friends on the site who have been very helpful with showing me how to do the things I'm inexperienced with. They've also been very helpful in finding me parts and machines to keep my fleet running.

    You're in good hands!
I guess I should'a pulled the left lateral in Albuquerque!

I've been close to 50mph on the track and there some out there that will go considerably faster.

    50 plus? That's funny.
I watched that video. I laughed hard. some of those thing were really hauling a**
I had an Attex Chief ( I think ) been along time ago
It had a Chaparral twin cylinder 2 stroke and man that thing would fly.
Then I bought a 4 seater Max and sold the Attex to Richard Clark of route 6x6
    he's an awesome guy.

The Attex with the Chaparral engine in it would be an Attex Superchief. It was the fastest production AATV made. I have one now and I absolutely love it. They're excellent machines. Most people don't think very highly about Richard Clark because they've been so badly burned by him, his poor customer service, inferior quality parts, and prices that are rediculously high. When someone brings his name up, you'll get the response along the lines of, "whatever you do, NEVER deal with Richard Clark". And the old saying, where there's smoke, there's fire, is certainly is no exception here. I've seen too many people burned by him because he's just in it to make lots of money. The great thing about 6X6World is that it's a non-commercial site and we're all here to help each other out to promote the hobby and make it grow.

this site is great, I'm very happy to have the opportunity to get to know you all.

amphibious drew... thank you for the video, made for a great laugh, I had to watch it twice! looks like your family was enjoying themselves as well. One of these years I hope to make it up to Ashtabula, but it always seems to come at the worst possible time for me. late june/early july seems to be the busiest time of year, so I won't make it this time around... I'll try it again in 2013

rednine11 that would be extremely kind of you, please let me know

Strato,I am still looking for you a 6x6.I did find a trail boss on craigslist in mansfield,I think that is where it is for $500.It looks good and runs but that might be too far away. You are in a good location to find these machines. You may have to wait on one closer.Down here in the south they are much harder to find.I do have family in the dayton area.I found it again the guy wants $800.

Thanks for the warning about Richard. I sold him two of my machines and he did low ball me but at the time I was ok with it.
Now that I have the LTV KID I won't need anything he has anyway
Doubt I will ever deal with him again
I think I am here to stay
    Thanks again

thank you coosaridgerider, I really appreciate you looking for me, I don't think I could afford $800 but I'll find the ad and have a look. sounds interesting.

is that where most of you find your machines? craigslist?

That machine is much more complicated to work on.Craigslist is a good source or local bulletin board.I'm sure that something cheaper will pop up.
