Giving up!

How many of you have been close to giving up your 6x6.. I've fixed everything I wanted to and now something that has always been fine has gone wrong. I've got no spark!! Its a kawi ta440. Im ready to sink it.

Hi chrisivins, it's sometime frustrating but innevitable, even if you maintain your machine at her top something can go wrong. Don't loose it and don't sink it !!!!! There is always a solution... For your engine problem, i can give you some hint to folow because i don't have a kawa engine in my Argo. I got the same problem on my machine and it was the wire who ground the coils to stop the engine that was mess up. If this wire is shorted to the ground on your machine it could result in no spark... Hope it can help you a little...

The 2-strokes tend to be temperamental. They run very fast but need a lot of massaging.

I put a 4-stroke into one of my Attexes and it's very reliable now, just not as fast.

Don't give up.

chris doin't give up .i'm about to rebild my max II bought used so i have had a bunch of problems . but i still love it . as for 4 stroke get a 23 or25 k or briggs you will love it . robbie

I've ripped out all the 2 strokes I've ever owned and replaced them with 4. Quite, reliable... simple to use, and if you go with fuel injection your troubleshooting days on the engine are basically over :P
