I ran into the same problem when I rebuilt my KID wisconsin. I ended up just timing it by ear. I'd also like to find a way to set it with a light

I rebuilt the VH4D in my KID. it had a busted piston so I put in 4 new ones.
I'd just rebuild what you have

These things are tanks.

Doesn't the triton Predator use an independent hydro motor for each wheel ???

Here is the setup in the KID

The LTV KID uses a Wisconsin 4 cylinder engine and huge vickers drive units.
The mud ox is set up the same way. both machines will zero turn

My LTV KID is Hydrostatic drive. If you want I can take some pics and send you.
It works REAL good. The thing is a tank.

No I have not put them on yet. I have the engine and trans out of my machine right now so I can rebuild the engine. number 3 piston was broken. I tore it completely down and it's going back together...

I have the 4 cylinder gas version and have the full canvas cab , doors and original steel tracks. They only made about 100 machines with the Perkins Diesel...

I have the motor, pumps and hydro motors out of my KID due to a busted piston, Getting the engine ready to rebuild and looking over things I find that the top stud and nut on the pump to gear housing...

Well I took your guys advice and bought them,
They are in really good shape.
With shipping included I am into them for 1500 bucks.
I have never looked forward to snow...........until now:D:D

I found an original set of steel tracks for my KID
does anyone have any experience with them?
How good or bad are they?
Do they wear out fast or how long should I expect them to last?

I have the engine out of mine right now

I would like to convert my KID over to have 2 separate control sticks like my Max 4 had. Has anyone tried this or have any suggestions?

One of my motor mount studs broke free and just spins with the nut on it so this could be fun. Guess I will pull the upper body this weekend and try to get that stud out.

I have a broken piston in my KID
Has anyone had the engine and hydrostats out of one of these? If so I would sure like to talk to you before I get too far into this........

I have an LTV KID and I have not had this problem. I think you're on the right track with the master link. If there is anything I can check on mine to help you..just ask
are you using the master...
