I'll give them a look. Thanks for the advice. I know chains have to be upgraded as well as sprockets and the clutch/brake baskets. It's a work in progress.......

Think I found a JLO 295 to install. Now if I can find the electric start! Hard to get out and pull start in the middle of the lake..........

Sounds like a good solution. I'm going to investigate the outboard possibility as well just in case. Did you machine it yourself or take it to a shop?
Do you have the Berkley Pump? If so, Does it still function with the trans locked in forward?
