conquest carb leaking gas ,Need help

I have a 1994 conquest with a Kawasaki fd620d engine. just put new carb kit in it and gas was leaking on the manifold when I started it. I turned the key on to just check what it did with fuel pump on and it still leaked gas without the engine running. Any Ideas what is wrong?

Not sure if it really helps. But I run this stuff. Ethanol is a killer.

I had to tinker with my float level on my Kohler when I put a kit in it to keep it from flooding.
