The original rawhide tread design in 21" is different than the rawhide III's. Wish they made taller sizes as it was a good swimmer.

Thanks Roger and thanks Mudbug for the video. This forum is excellent because it's fun and you just keep learning.

Ignore the cheezy commentary...LOL
"Pinks" style! LOL! (it's two videos overlayed on top of each other. I wanted to see how much faster the outboard was compared to the tires alone.

Whipper, that cam really shows how smooth your ride is. You need to mount that on a non-springer to show the difference.
Jim, I loved that comparison video and the pinks music had me laughing pretty hard. I was expecting more of a difference between the two.
Whipper does the cam take AA's?

[QUOTE=whipper-ag;7467]Just checking out the new head cam. This is one of the 1st videos that I took with it. I've still got some glitches to work out (like sucking down the batteries like coca cola). It needs a 12 volt adapter. It didn't work every time I bolted it to the frame mount, but it worked if I had it attached to my helmet. So I lost a lot of great video, because it wasn't recording sometimes. It's nice to have both hands free though. This camera has enough memory to last 30 hours, but the batteries only last about 3 1/2 hour per charge. It has a wide angle lense in it, which is nice I think. Still have to figure out the best place for the microphone.
Whipper ,
Chase cams sells a rubber camera mount for their bullet cameras . Maybe you can check out their bullet camera mount , and make you own .

I fpund this posted on the Chase cam websote :
We sell a Clamp mount that can clamp to anything that is 1.5" wide or less. You can clamp to a rollbar, window edge, mirror, bumper, suspension part, or almost anything!
The clamp mount is protected by cork on the clamping pad, and a soft rubber sleeve on the other end. The clamp is made from high quality extruded aluminum alloy that is black anodized and stainless steel hardware.
The clamp comes with a universal mount for adjustments
Ugh... it's (at least) as fast as the D/stock. I need more ponies.

Mike, do you think that could have been one of those Superchiefs that was geared up a little bit from the factory? Gus and I actually talked about that a couple weeks ago. It's quite amazing what can happen when you have a different number of teeth on your sprockets.
