Hi Dennis, welcome to the forum. There are several KID owners on the board. Try starting a new thread in the "Other AATV" forum and someone may be able to help. Congratulations on your KID.

Hello from New York I recently acquired a 1993 Max IV it came with tracks, I'm sure they were never on it.After a six hour fight I got them on.My dilemma now is that they are smacking the under body any pointers on why?I did notice the metal cleats are tapered I installed them wide side out is that the way they go? Thanks for any help.

    Seis,

You need wheel spacers for tracks. Call the guys at Adair Argo. They will get you what you need for a good price.

fx4matt, welcome to the forum. For hyperlinking photos, you have to use the URL of the photo itself and not the page it's on:

You can also upload photos here on this site: Six Wheeler Photos - Amphibious ATV Pictures

WOW! Another 67 Argo, VERY clean looking unit. Welcome.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Hi I am registered as solutions1943 .I am retired as a industrial millwright and motorcycle mechanic. Argo was my choice for all terrain and I once owned a PlayCat all terrain as a project.I am presently building a small parade vehicle the shape of a miniature jeep.I am looking for ideas for a drive train and thought this an excellent site to perhaps locate what I need. Looking forward to a rewarding exchange of ideas and looking at all your projects.

Hi solution1943, welcome to the forum. I think you should find plenty of ideas for a drivetrain here.
