    What type of engine /transmission

    I found a Hustler 980 bigfoot for sale and I am interested in what type of engine it has

    That's not a Hustler 980 BIGFOOT. It's either a 945 or 950. This machine has been for sale for quite a while now with no luck of a sale. It's a Kohler K341 16HP and a T-20 transmission.

    Thanks for the reply, the ad had it listed as a 980 Bigfoot. I take it you are familiar with the ad?

    No problem, happy to help. People that don't know what they're selling often misrepresent the machines in their ads. I saw it posted many times and there were other members here on the site that were considering the machine but passed on it.
