    I took an air Chinle and scored the hubs and they loosened up wonderfully. You don't have to score very deep.
    Wow! That's great. I never noticed this thread before. Amazing that the score does not need to go all the way to the axle. Hmmm, wonder if the scoring makes the difference or just the amount of shear violence imparted on the assy via the pneumatic chisel? Sorta like impact wrench vs. long breaker bar?

    Thanks for posting this! (I have one more Hustler to disassemble).

    Probably both. The scoring may expand the tube just a teeny tiny amount to get things moving.
