    sprock play

The question I have is about sprocket play on the axle.On my hustler the center axles move bit and one on each end.I was thinking about drilling the sprocket and axle to the next size bolt or is there something else can be done or is the play acceptable? Also what grade of bolt should be used?

Don't drill the hole out larger as it can weaken the axles too much. Search the forum for body bound bolts. There are a couple of threads about using them to help correct worn sprocket tubes. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/gener...ound-bolt.html

You can also weld washers on the outside of the sprocket tubes so that you have new, correctly sized holes on the sprocket tubes for the bolts to go through.
