First time owning a 6 wheeler. Any feedback to any of the issues I am having would be greatly appreciated. Previous owner installed a 20 hp Briggs and stratton I/c turbo cool engine . I am not sure if all was installed properly. Top speed is about 10 mph. Some of the chains are loose. I am not sure if that would cause the speed issue. I am hoping it's not transmission related. Also, turning is very choppy even at low speeds. I am not sure if hustler chain links are gauge specific or not. Can I purchase chain from a local atv shop?
Thanks.

The chains shouldn't be an issue regarding top speed unless they are skipping teeth on the sprocket. If that was the case, you would know it. I would start by looking into the tightness of the belt between the two CVTs. If it is too loose it would not allow for the proper transfer of power to the transmission. You would need to purchase a new belt or create some adjustable motor mounts that allow you to tighten the belt that you currently have.
