    Sunday Ride

Went riding for a couple of hours Sunday afternoon at Sardis Lake Reservoir, which is a man-made flood control lake. Prior to the lake, there were roads, home sites, farms and such, with some remnants still remaining. There is an old concrete box culvert out there and the water level is high enough to just cover the top. I swam out to it and was able to climb up on it - walking on water! It's about 4 or 5 feet deep at this box culvert.

It is. When the water is low, there are miles and miles of lake bottom to ride. Plenty of any type of mud you want, creeks to cross, hills to climb. The only problem is way out in the lake bottom there is little to winch to. Have to be careful not to get stuck.

    Looks like fun.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

Looks like a lot of fun. Makes me eager to get mine out of the garage... one day!
