I emailed Matt off the Mudd Ox website, and he told me the 8" rims are $50, 9" rims are $60, and 12" rims are $70.
I think you can buy brand new 8" rims from Mudd-ox.
Frame out, bare tub.
Checked the websites, seems there's no real news. Anyone heard any rumours?
Well, after a hiatus I now have TWO 950's to work on. Got the axles, engine, and tranny out of one the other day, getting ready to pull the frame out. Can't stay away for some reason.....
Got the upper body off and started working on getting axles out. Rust demon has attacked this thing in some areas!
And some more - looks like water sat in the front for a while so I may do that frame-out I never did on my other 950. Anyone know if thats a "factory" front bumper on there?
After treating myself to a new pressure washer today (after working on junk ones for years) I blasted off the Hustler today. Not bad shape, tires still have yellow factory marks on them! Hope I will...
They are 22 inch, good tread but pretty dry rotted, I don't know if I can salvage them or not. Really was thinking of 24" Argo tires, so I can keep the 8" rims. I see that Goodyear is making the...
MUUAAAHAHAHA!!! I found another Hustler! After fixing up a 950 and selling it (and regretting it ever since) I scored this one last weekend!
Yes, it's used for a parking brake, and it actually works! I know most Hustler owners take it off and chunk it, but mine's still working so it's staying.
Here's a picture of my first freshly rebuilt T-20! I want to give a special thanks to George for posting the T-20 video and Mike for the T-20 rebuild article, they were invaluable. Also a shameless...
Does anyone have a part # or replacement for the motor mounts in my Hustler 950 (16 horse Kohler)? I have visited just about every parts store in town and all I get are blank stares. I know some...
Seals, bearings and thrust washers showed up today, Got a call from Transmission Crafters telling me my bands are on the way. Progress!
pics with the top off and after 1 1/2 hours of steam cleaning.
Hey, that's exactly what my 950 looks like right now!
Sorry for the delay on an update to this thread, I've been busy! Pulled the trans out and broke it down, sent the bands to transmission crafters, pulled the motor out, going to search for urethane...
950 Hustler, year unknown, 16 hp Kohler (red), clutch is marked 9/79. Been wanting a 6 wheeler for years, found this one!
