Your Hustler looks mean with those Vampire TSL's on it. The TLS's swam fairly decent on Boncrshr's Hustler 950 across the still water in the Sabine river

Thanks! The tailpipe is pretty cool, but it won't be staying.... It's waaaaaayy too loud. I'm going to put at least a glasspack on it. I will keep the rain cap though!

The Vampire TSL is my favorite tire, I also run them on my Honda Big Red and it's just about unstoppable. I have seen that video of Boncrshr's 950 a couple times, I don't know if mine will swim as well though. His had 25x13-9 tires, I decided to go for the 25x12-12 size because it actully has wider tread. Mine will most likely sit lower in the water; I don't know how that will affect the swimming speed. Either way, it's no big deal, I don't plan on doing a whole lot of swimming anyway.

Sorry for the double post Mike, I don't know how to multi-quote over 2 pages.

Thanks guys! I plan on posting some videos, but I want to get my clutch tuning issues worked out first. Anybody with Comet Duster experience that could give me some pointers? I think that I need more or heavier pucks, but I don't want to just go adding things not knowing what I'm doing.

Call 888-861-2640 Cartspartsplus and ask for Tom. He knows everything there is to know about Comet clutches and can tell you what do do and sell you what you need. I have been dealing with him for years. He specializes in putting Vanguard Vtwins in golf carts.

Well, I called Tom at Cart Parts Plus, and he wasn't very much help. He basically just told me that I'm SOL because Comet's been out of business for 2 years. So, I ventured over to eBay, found some NOS pucks and springs, and ordered a couple different ones. I'll try my luck and see what happens.

I have been thinking about getting a rev kit for my engine, any thoughts or recommendations on who to get one from and if it's worth the money? I do plan on cam and carb upgrades in the future, but I don't have the money for that kind of thing right now. I could swing a rev kit though.

I got my clutch parts in the mail to day, and set up my Duster. I ended up using 9 of the 7/8 steel insert pucks and a pink spring. This rig is AWESOME now!! It really puts the power to the ground, and tops out at about 25 mph.

While I was waiting for the parts to get here, I added a glasspack to the exhaust and built a windshield. I actully ended up taking the windshield off though, because the airflow behind it swirls dust in my face....

Still open to suggestions for engine mods.
