Is there any one around norther IL?????? I run a husler and have convinced two friends to get units, but do to wives and beer they won't keep them running!!! No body has aatv's here! Pull into a gass station with the "beast" on the trailer, all you hear is " What the hell is that" Looking for places to ride!!! Looking for friends to ride with!!!!

Bill Vassh used to sell Argos in Racine, WI. In the 90's he used to organize aatv runs in Racine and Kenosha areas. Those people are still around there someplace. Tony Bianco in McHenry Co. I think it was, used to deal in Max, Argo and Land Tamer. I see he no longer has his web site up. Used to sell a lot of machines. They are there in your area but I think they are all hiding or have sold them on eBay or Cragslist. Lots of machines from your area have gone on the auction for what ever reason. Across the border in WI, Kenosha Co. the state has an off road vehicle play area, it used to be limited to registerd ATV/4-wheelers. Maybe they have changed. Contact the WI DNR or check out their web site. NE ILL and SE WI used to be heavy Amphicat and Hustler country.

We have a lot of silent members that have never posted. I think they joined to read and do research but for what ever reason, do not contribute.

Are you close to Rockford On Hwy 2, a couple miles north of Hwy 20 there is an off road vehicle park just off 2 on the east side. Can't remember the name of the place and I don't know if aatv's run there. I just saw the sign at the place at the beginning of the month when I was down that way. It may be worth checking it out if you live close.

Hey Russh, I suggest you put your location or your city in your profile. It's easier to locate people when thay do that for instance, I just found this member from Crystal Lake that's looking for a 6x6. Are you close to him? Maybe you can help him find a machine and then have someone to ride with.

I live in Dixon IL 61021, There is a few atv parks here, mostly racer's. No body seems to be answering the phone lattly when I call to find info on aatv's.

im from kenosha wisconsin i got an attex semi-running two people up my road have max's and my buddies got an old amphicat thats rotting away in his yard and i have noticed alot of people in racine with argos

It's been a while since I was in Kenosha. Had a Gip-Sea and an Amphicat when I was there. There used to be an Amphicat sitting outside a house I want to say on the SE side just past or near the city limits or south of 91st St. in P. Prairie on/off Hwy 32. Could never find the owner to see if he wanted to sell.

With that many neighbors having machines, you can get your own riding group together. Lead them over to 6x6 World, we need more Badgers on here.

The Argo dealer in Racine used to have a few organized rides. I want to say around and in the Root River. Long time ago though. All my old pictures from back then died in an old computer. Is there still an Argo dealer there? The last Max dealer I knew about in the area was a motorcycle dealer in Zion or Waukegan. Had one or two machines usually in stock. There are more machines out your way. Round them up and get them on board here. Post up some pictures of your Attex in the gallery. We like to see pictures. If I can ever find some of those aatv sleeper-owners here in Wisconsin, I would like to get a ride together. Problem being is that the state won't register our machines here and you can't ride public trails w/o atv registration. Next door MN won't allow non-reg machines on their trails so that leaves us out even in their off road parks. So...it will have to be on private property. I have places to ride up here on private land but alas no one to ride with unless it's with those 4 wheeler guys and they can't go in my swamps even with snorkles 'cause it's too deep.

I would love to go wheelin with you sometime but im actually in college at UW Platteville right now and wish i was home i miss my garage (and my attex) greatly I'v just been surfin around on here getting ideas of stuff im going to do to my machine when i get home on my month off (vanguard, and mabee a hdpe skidplate) but hey next time im in town I will let the guys up my road now about the site mabee they will get into it and i will snap somemore pics of my machine
