    oil blowby

[FONT="Arial Black"]i have oil coming out of the breather tube. with the hood on it leaves the engine compartment foggy so i would say its far from moderate blow by. oil level is correct and it doesnt seem to have gas in it but i could be wrong. i will try an oil change when i can and see if this does anything.

a compression test will tell a lot. you can also put compressed air to one of the spark plug holes and see if you can hear air flow at the oil dipstick tube

Then you have air slipping by the piston into the crank case. Bad rings and worn piston and cylinder wall.

I have had some luck using a crankcase flush and a bottle of Lucas oil treatment.

you need a leak down tester harbor freight very cheap most motors you will hear blow by with compressed air. a leak down tester will tell you exactly how bad it is. very easy to use and no guess work maybe as simple as a stuck ring from our wonderful ethanol.
