    Awesome thread! If you don't mind me asking what clutch and belt are you using? I looked through the thread and it appears you went back to the "green" spring? Thanks.

    the red spring was used because of the invance clutch that i could not get to work after 2 years of trying, i went back to the comet drive and driven and changed back to the green.
    100 % better. the belt is 1.25 wide.

    Hey Whipper,

    Sorry to bring this back up. I'm looking at a 35hp briggs. What Length shaft Do you reccomend? All the ones I see are 3, 3 1/2, or 4.
