Question Looking for parts to fix my maxII

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to make chain drive sprockets for a max II and where would I get a sprocket with a 1"1/4 center hole with 52 teeth. All my sprockets are in need of replacing.

You buy a generic sprocket and bore the hole larger.....BTW 1 1/4" is your axle size, and will be the inside diameter of the tube you weld the sprocket to.

52 teeth on a sprocket???? Max never had that. Normal was 22 teeth on the axles (MaxII w/ #50 chain). If you are looking for gear reduction, you can't do it on the axles, you will need to change it on the jack-shaft.

Jim I'm guessing he now has 40 chain, if so now is the tome to upgrade to 50 chain.
You can go with 1-1/4 inside 1-1/2 outside tubing and buy 1-1/2 bore sprockets 22 tooth

it seems that the wall thickness is .12 while the original sprocket tubes are closer to .20 will that matter?

I think I have a complete set of 50 sprockets laying around. I'll sell them for $35 a sprocket.

Is that for the cluster sprocket also? Used ? I am in the process of figuring out how much to spend to keep my max at #40 sprockets or upgrade to #50 looks like I can buy 2 feet of tube and 6 #40 Sprockets and 2 #50 sprockets for about $150 all together-then I have to weld them up I think it would be about another $25 bucks to go with #50 sprockets but then I have to order 50 feet of #50 chain. This is with all the sprockets coming from surplus supply I can get 1.50 O.D. x 1.25 I.D. Tube 2 feet for $20 at metal mart.I would rather just buy new original sprockets but Richard relics wants $75 per cluster sprocket and $50 per single axle sprocket.
