    Tossing around an idea...solo seat...

Hey yall, know i havent been around in a while...but after deciding to keep my max, to the ol ladys dismay, ive been thinking of doing a solo seat because she wants me to buy her a quad *eyeroll*

But anyways, yes, i could rip a seat out of a car and go that route, but then i got to thinking...

Anyone ever try an air ride seat from a semi? Mounting it wouldnt be an issue, but airing it might be...any ideas?

If you will search the site for suspension seat, you will be able to get several detailed threads showing different ways to make a suspension seat work. I don't know of anyone that used an air ride seat but many have used seats with springs:

you'd be better off with one of those seats Mike's talking about. Had to take an air seat out of one of our trucks recently and it took 2 of us to handle the thing. Must have weighed 150 #.

Isringhausen make probably the best air seats around, but they're not light, in fact they're damned heavy.

Putting a bucket in a II is more involved than a IV.
