The red spring won't do very well briggs # 691507 brown spring. That and set rpm with tach an good to go.

4300-4400 should be a good rpm. .

That's a tad high for a Briggs.

Thanks for all of the input guys. The problem is the governor. When I manipulated it by hand while driving the rpms came up and the machine took off. George is going to come by and help me set it. I ordered the mini tach and rev kit. Thanks again everyone for the assistance.
