Max II rear exhaust

What year model did the maxII come with the rear exit exhaust?

2002 with smaller engins did not have rear exahust. As near as I know all had it by 2005. I've seen both ways through 2003 model year and one 04 with 14 hp that had side exahust. Think the factory was using up parts.
