My guess would be Maximus will be a new Max springer. We have all seen photo's of someone developing one. The other may be the Ox springer we saw last year at Ashtabula.

Whenever I see the light on the mountains, I think not another alien abduction!

I'm thinking that there will be a besprung machine soon. A Muddox with a decent suspension. I think somewhere about the same time the Max 8x8 will be out. There might even be a Mudd Ox with a t20 in a base package.

Exciting times ahead. Can't wait to see some of the new Indiana creations.

My guess... Maximus is a big tire Max II ( new body on a Max IV), and the Proteus is a new Max VI 8 wheeler. Just guesses of course.

Yellow is my favorite amphib color, and added the yellow Frontier 8x8 last year to my small fleet, it looks great on an Attex as well, so a Max should be a looker in yellow.
I think the addition of the 8x8 is going to be big for Matt.
