    Max II and Max IV

I'm thinking of picking up a max2 as a parts vehicle for my max 4. If they are similar years, are most of the parts (except for the obvious ones I.E shift linkage or other different length parts) interchangeable?

Basically the t-20, clutches assuming the same shaft size in the engine, and engines could be swapped back and forth. Axles are different lengths, sprockets are completely different.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

    What about the axle bearings?

Why in the world would you want to worry about bearings? Bearings are a wear item. Would you re-use an oil filter on a second car...even if it only had a few hundred miles on it?
New (economy brand) bearings are approx $12-19 each depending on size if bought from Buffalo Bearing. BEARING SPECIALIST SINCE 1919

Had the same reply before thebuggyman1 well advised you, there are also year changes in both the Max II and IV where the bearings got larger. Though you could shorten the II's axles and redrill them if axles all are pinned style, use Drew's guide.

Or build the II and play with it as it's much more nimble or give it to the wife, then you're in good.

    Joe Camel never does that.

    I suggest rebuilding both.

Thanks for all the info guys! I had no idea the bearings would be that cheap. I missed out on the Max by a couple hours so a moot point anyway.
