    Max II adair track question

I have a 1996 Max II with 14hp, tires are 21x11x8 Carlisle power track. I just picked up a set of 13 inch wide argo tracks off an argo 8x8. I believe these are referred to as adair argo tracks. They do not fit at this time, they rub the tub. Does anyone know the best, most cost effective, and sturdy way to make these fit. I have seen a few different kinds of wheel spacers as well as lengths and have also heard of wheels with different setbacks. I do not know if I have solid axles or hollow, so I am expecting they will be hollow and don't want the wheels extended any further than necessary to clear. Also if you know a good source to purchase or if anyone has good used ones. Thanks

Adair tracks are manufactured by Adair Argo. I would bet those aren't the tracks you have. I think you probably have these Argo tracks: 13" Standard Tracks | ARGO UTV

Do you have bearing extensions on your Max II? Here is a picture of what they look like: 40130 BEARING CAGE KIT - MAX II

Yes I have the 13" standard Argo tracks. No I do not have bearing extensions. Are the bearing extensions mandatory?

    Check out this thread: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...ing-cages.html

Also, if you look at Adair's website, they offer custom offset wheels that I think would allow you to run them without the bearing cages: Adair Argo Max II Tracks | Adair Argo Sales - We Ship Worldwide!
