Although this reference does not show one for the belt you refer to I post it incase others need a cross refetence.

Auto Belts Online - Complete Auto Belt Catalog for all Brands

The Gates website does not show a direct replacement.

If you search "018033" using the "search forum" button, upper right, three threads show up. These have alternative belts.

did you call your local parts house to see if they can cross it over? I've always managed to get one that way. They'll usually let you go in back (if you're a regular customer) and compare belts to find one that matches.

I did go to our local Napa that we have a account with but they show the belt being 52" but I was told its 47 1/2" by 6x6 world who didn't have any in stock that's why I posted. Looking for a quicker fix than waiting on a back order item.

018033 is the original RI # and the belts were made by daco. I have very good results with 1092M3 daco ultamax belts. I've experimented with the 1049M3 and find the added width gives a bit more bottom end. 1092 measures the same as the original factory belts did.

So which belt do you prefer the best? The wider belt with more bottom end, does that mean you lose any top end?
I'm just looking for spares. I'm making a notebook full of part numbers for mine.

I also should add mine is a max II, irk if that's a different belt.

    Different

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

I prefer the 1049M3 it just isn't an exact replacement by measurement. Briggs maxII uses a 1039M3. I see in my notes I've been calling these belts Daco but the numbers come up as Carlisle now. Think they used to be the same company??
