I recently purchased a 94 Max II. I have started the disassembly process and plan on rebuild bigger and better. I would like your guys opinions on the top three improvements/modifications for a rebuild project. Thanks

New bearings, new chains, new sprockets. Assuming these need replacement.

Rusty-Gunn, I plan on changing all the bearings and replacing the chains, the sprockets are in great shape. I was wondering what other owners may have modified on their vehicles to improve performance. For example; split shifter, seat mods, exhaust mods. Thanks for replying Rusty-Gunn

Split shifter is a great mod. Also a bilge pump.

Change the head and tail lights to LED's and also install a roll bar with LED lights on top

One of the best things you can do is show up at one of the rides and see what others have done. People have done MANY different things.

Yep, what Toys4Me said. There's a great diversity of machines at some of the get togethers. Here's the next good sized one that I know of.

Thanks for responding guys, an event would be a great place to look at other machines and pick the minds of the guys who did the work. Thanks again
