I'm currently building a 80s Max with a 530 liquid cooled Artic Cat approximately 87 hp. Looking for some pointers on the t20 trans. Should I possibly have a supported shaft and sold center axels? Where can I find the gears to make my own sprockets ect. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
You will need to beef up the jack shaft or eliminate it all together. I would use a splinded center axel. You can get the hubs and sprockets from Surpluscenter.com. I don't use a supported shaft on my 550 liquid racer but it can't hurt if you don't have a popcyle stick transmission. Spent a couple winters in Naples, where the heck are you going to run that thing down there?
