    Chain stretch and adjustment question

Just replaced a chain and my max II. Just wondering how long I should drive it before the new chain stretches and I can adjust it to the correct tension. I have a lot of extra racks , winch and other items that I need to take off my max to get to the chains , so I want to know how long . I don't want to put all of this stuff back and then have to take it off again to adjust the chain over and over.

I doubt there is an exact answer, as no one can correctly predict chain stretch. Driving style, driving conditions, engine horse power, etc makes a small difference. Poor quality chain does stretch faster than quality chains.
I'd say enjoy your machine, keep an eye on the chains, and tighten as required. You may find out y9u will need to tighten them a few times before they settle in.
