i have the adair max 2 tracks and the offset rims with 21'' tires. the cost from adair was about $ 3000. maybe check with them and see if they have a used set with tires and rims. there was a set of factory max tracks and exstensions on here fairly recently i thought ? johnboy va.

yeah i was thinking it would 2000 - 2500 for tracks , not thinking so for this particular max . I have the oppurtunity to upgrade to a 04 with a bigger kohler but it is 2 grand to upgrade axles and motor not sure i want to invest that kinda scoots and still have get tires, tracks , adapters and build bearing cages might just keep baby max no tracks and garage it when snow gets deep

if you are fairly good at fabricating and enjoy it, you can make homebuilt tracks for not alot of money. i made my first tracks by bending the guides and then using conveyor belting, etc. they worked really well. these were on my max 2 that had 21'' rawhides. the tracks were low profile and not much wider than the tires. so i didn't need extensions or bearing cages. look under johnboys half track max here if interested. later, j.b.

Rabenfels, how did they work on your machine in the snow? Why are you selling? Have any pictures to post? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

I think from an economic perspective, it would be less expensive to purchase a Max 2 with the factory track system if snow is your concern. The factory rubber tracks are big and heavy, and a Max2 will absolutely not float with them on along with the extensions, and all that extra weight. There have been several so equipped Max2s on EBAY over the last year, and they have gone for $3-3.5k. So equipped also included solid splined axles and larger motors.
