Just found idler sprocket on the belt side is destroyed and need to replace. Suggestion on the easy way to get to it?
if all you're doing is the idler sprocket you can take the back seat out (4 bolts) and access it that way. Loosen the chain tensioner all the way and take the nut off. Then you can pull the assembly toward the front of the machine to get at it. Keep track of the shims on each side of the sprocket while pulling the bolt out. These are what lines it up with the other sprockets.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
