    Max IV Hitch Weight

Hi All, I have a 2001 Max IV and might consider a aluminum rack for deer hunting on the rear hitch ball. It's the kind people use on their vehicle when they need to haul more than the car will hold. How much weight can I put on the ball? Thanks for all your help. Forgot to mention, I will also be using the rear winch to help with the weight.

It will handle quite a bit. I made one to haul my portable shack, deer, and xmas trees. I would gusset under the hitch to help out. Here's mine if you're lookin for ideas.

What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
