    Gears Seized

Both sides of tranny are seized, motor is out, linkages are clean, fluid is full. Any reason why iboth sides could be seized at tranny?

Welcome to the site. What machine and type of transmission do you have?

You have a t20 trans and if the laterals are spring loaded and trans is in gear your not gonna be able to turn the sprockets.hopefully this is your issue

Ok there's a shifter for foward, neutral, and reverse. It needs to be in the neutral position for any gear to turn. the sticks or laterals are prolly spring loaded so when it's in foward gear and the engine is not running no gears on the trans will turn.as the bands will be pulled tight onto the drums inside the trans. hope this helps a little bit.

I don't think you have any issues. The shifter on your transmission can go forward neutral or reverse like Dave said. The diamonds on top of the transmission, when pointing forward, mean the transmission is in forward gear, when they point back, they are in reverse, and when pointed straight outward, the transmission is in neutral. If it is in forward, spin the secondary pulley while pushing the laterals forward and see if the sprockets turn. Same thing for reverse except pull the laterals back. Putting the transmission in neutral will allow you to grab and spin the sprockets.

Your t20 is really two transmissions in one case, driven off the same input shaft (the secondary clutch). That input shaft is the only thing connecting the two halves, there's also a separating plate keeping the two halves mostly walled off from one another. Very unlikely something has happened to both sides to where when in neutral, the output sprockets are froze if it still has oil and no water.

spin the belt driven clutch by hand and see if the sprokets turn, I bet they do. If you pull 1/2 way back on the sticks they should turn. if you pull the small lever up to the middle position they should spin regardless of the position of the larger sticks.
