Now that Mudd-Ox owns Max atv has anyone heard about possibly updating them? I want a 6x6 atv so I can take my son along but I don't want to spend this much money that looks like something from the 60's.

Don't believe the look will change, perhaps colors, internal changes are the buzz.
I imagine it would cost tens of thousands just to make new body and tub molds. Tough to earn the money bac when aatvs are not the rage like SxS utvs. It will likely stay as it is. Besides, the Max II is cool looking.

Heck, the 1960s/70s Max II was light years ahead in the looks department compared to a lot of other machines from the same era.

What I meant was....a body that would except larger tires, a dash that would include a digital screen, USB ports etc and a receiver style hitch instead of the one it has now.

How much bigger of a tire do you want?
Keith.
Would you REALLY want to go digital with a MAX? I don't think so. It's ugly enough on regular ATV's, can't imagine it on a MAX. It would also make the manufacturing costs and buyers cost very prohibitive. There is a digital face on my wife's Brute Force. The only thing I even look at is the hour meter and speedo depending on where I am. And very seldom at that.
