, the 2 stroke motor is seized up and want to replace it with a 4 stroke. Any suggestions on what I should put in.

I have a 1976 Max 11 Putting in the original gas tank. It has 2 Hose connection spots both

go to the bottom of the tank, would 1 be a vent if so
why does it go to bottom of tahk

thanks again for the help.If your installing a different motor, what is the best distance for the motor to transmission. How do you determine what length of belt you would use.

Have trans in working on split shift. Was wondering with the shift lever up, should that be forward or reverse? and does it matter.

What did you use for your second shift lever ? Trans won't budge on drivers side.

Have transmission back in, now input side won't shift into forward. was working fine on bench. Also need shims for jack shaft, any ideas

Any idea how much end play there should be on the input shaft? Mine seems to slide in and out about 3/8 of an inch.

1976 max ll brand new chain. the rear chain bottom went over the adjuster. The front chain top went over the adjuster.

Should the chain be over the adjuster to start with? Seems like the adjuster won't go down far enough. They are the new RR ones.

How do you suggest to remove them?

These are the new bearings I received from Buffalo Bearing (on the right). They look different, will they work?

the adjusters went in not to bad. Getting ready to start on axles.

Just ordered them. Then finally start putting it back together.

Looks like bands around the drums. No parking brake.
