Can anyone tell me the exact location of the two large washers that go on the t-20 clutch input shaft?
I installed everything and the belt/clutch alignment was off so I just now moved...
They can't shear technically, but the setscrews do get beat up. The reason is that the sprockets can still slide around side to side and rotationally a bit. I did have one rear axle that had the...
You can get them from RI. Last I recall was like $16.
I need one as well. The clear plastic on mine was repaired. It now leaks and is also faded. The level also fell apart inside the tank.
Yeah you can lathe the snap ring grooves if you got a lathe! Recreative did get me a drawing to machine them, but I found out it was not correct.
I only heated the sprockets up with a torch, but...
I've got a 2001 max IV. It has the splined axles with setscrews holding the sprockets on.
Let me tell you the setscrews are a pain in my behind.
It's Impossible to remove the setscrews which...
Check the wires going into the starter. Recently I had to epoxy the plastic end bell because it broke. The starter would work sometimes and not others. This fixed my issue.
Or just remove floorboards, go in the pond and see where the water comes in.
Rained for days here.

Here's what my poor hometown looks like!
Won't be able to see it for a day or two or maybe more!...
The notes I have on my phone are 56" tire to tire and 82" bumper to bumper.
I use the same factory caplugs. I also carry a pair of pliers in my storage tote which I attached to the back of the machine.
I also thought about getting something like these:

I have never removed mine, but I can see one problem for me at least. I put my machine in reverse while parked on hills to keep the transmission brakes on as well as the parking brake.
Please post the part # or link so others can easily find it. I haven't need a new sprocket yet so I haven't looked.
You will want a nice big jar of anti-seize too!
This is the stuff I picked up. It's "marine grade" so hopefully it works better than regular. I sure slapped enough of it on my bearings!
...
I just wanted to make this thread as an informative POST to help others.
Last quote from the factory for a idler sprocket was $31.
They don't sell the bearings alone so you are stuck buying a...
Last quote from the factory which I got a month or so ago was $45 a pop x 12...
I just bought some from BearingsOn.com: Pillow Blocks, 2-Bolt, 3-Bolt, 4-Bolt Flanges, Radial Ball Bearings, Insert...
You will need to cut the inner race of the bearing off to get the sprocket off.
It's not a big deal if you cut a little into the axle. Once you cut one side almost to the axle I get a big...
I once put a bottle jack in the middle of the frame and tried pressing the axle out. Even that didn't work. Of course I didn't crank the pressure up too high though. Didn't want the welds to...
Your welcome!
This one was too big too pull! I did pull it straight down the mountainside though! ...
I wish you luck! I had to drill the setscrews out of my sprockets to get the axles off. I also had to cut the bearings off. Everything gets rusted together and makes it impossible to take apart. ...
