I just got mine from Richards Relics, he was very helpful in picking out what I needed and did his best to keep the cost down for me. I would highly recommend his online store.

Let me know how the Max IV top comes out and how much they would want for one. That sounds great.
Just ordered all the stuff to repair my Max IV from Richards Relics. What a help he is to find out what you need. These toys are expensive but he helped get me the parts to do it right for the least...
About what did it run you for the entire conversion?
That is an extremely generous offer that I wish I could take you up on. Unfortunately I have no trailer and that is the reason I'm trying to find a place that works on them locally. Thank you again,...
Does anyone know where I could get work done on my Max IV close to Tamaqua, PA 18252 ? Any help would be appreciated. :dontknow:
Rear inside sprocket stripped the teeth off. I think it's the main drive sprocket. Is this something a noob can change or should I take it somewhere and have it done? I figure I'll change out the...
Thanks, I wanted to check my chains and was afraid to try to jack it up. Once again you guys are an invaluable source of info.
What is the proper method of jacking up the wheels off the ground On a Max IV without damaging the body?:dontknow: I need to properly check chain tension and don't know where to jack safely.
When I use the left lateral to turn, pulling back, I sometimes get a banging noise, one pop or bang. Not always but often enough for me to ask if anyone knows what it could be?:hmmmm2:
OMG what a difference the tire pressure made. It's like a different machine. I'm running 3lbs of air and it rides like a dream compared to before. Thanks Robbie any other tips for a newbie?
Thanks Robbie, I really appreciate having all you people and your knowledge. And the fact everyone is willing to help those of us just getting into the sport. Thanks
How do I tell if I have K style rims?
You are right about the pressures, I never checked because they looked good but the previous owner had anywhere from 7 to 15 lbs in various tires.
I put in fresh gas and adjusted the throttle cable and made it's maiden run. Three foot deep puddle and went through it like nothing. It's tricky learning the skid steer on the rough terrain I have...
We both had shakey starts with our new machines. Mine didn't die but it doesn't run right yet either. Need to hook up the choke and resolve some throttle issues. But the t20 was just rebuilt so...
Thanks guys. She needs a little work. But I'm sure I can work it out with all the info available here.:help:
Just got it today.:driver:
This is it. 1998 Max IV, 26in tires, 20hp Kohler Seems to need a little TLC. Throttle cable is stiff to hold. Choke cable needs to be reattached. Came up in rain and snow so it was soaked. I took it...
Sounds great. I have to get a trailer before I can go far but have some trails here till then.
